    15 February 2013

Old friends and (new) foes have advised David Ward MP that he is in a hole and really should stop digging. (For background, see here and here.) Unfortunately, whoever runs his website disagrees, and has posted an article that renders Ward unfit to serve as a Member of…

  • "Bad taste" & "Wrong on so many levels" - Guardian Comment is Free

    30 July 2012

Few things are guaranteed to upset the Guardian like a US Republican presidential candidate's visit to Jerusalem: on a fund-rasier no less!  If bookies took bets on such things, you could put your house on the paper writing a poorly worded article that risks sounding like a modern version…

  • Hamas supporter behind bars because of CST research

CST research has resulted in a UK-based Hamas supporter being sentenced to one year in prison.

  • Socialist Revolutionaries for Hamas?

Britain’s Socialist Workers Party reacted to the Hamas terrorist attacks on 7 Oct by publishing articles justifying the "right to resist Israel" and encouraging to “rejoice as Palestinian resistance humiliates racist Israel”. The Socialist Worker also explicitly wrote about “our support for Hamas” and "we hope Hamas hurls back the offensive", imagining scenarios of a Hamas victory. How, then, do such statements square with UK terrorism laws that make it a criminal offence to express an opinion or belief that is supportive of a proscribed group?

  • Holocaust survivor, Susan Pollack MBE, delivers moving account to CST staff, volunteers and their families

CST was delighted to host Susan Pollack MBE, a Holocaust survivor and educator, to speak about her experiences growing up during the Holocaust. CST works to tackle antisemitism in modern day Britain and to protect the Jewish community and over 200 CST staff, volunteers and their families attended last night. It is crucial to hear the testimony of those who experienced what the worst forms of antisemitism can lead to.

  • David Icke’s ages old New Age antisemitism

    5 January 2017

David Icke’s forthcoming “Worldwide Wakeup” tour, including a sell-out event at the Manchester O2 Apollo arena, forces opponents of antisemitism to seriously confront the blatant lunacy of New Age conspiracy theory. Icke’s promotional tour film has over 100,000 views on Youtube. It can be viewed here and shows Icke as a manic prophet of imminent doom, using speech and images to urgently warn an eager theatre audience that a “Rothschild Zionist” conspiracy controls the world, driving global conflict through NATO and seeking World War Three, which will begin between Zionists and Muslims.

  • The anti-war left’s contextual problem with antisemitism

Jon Lansman is a key Jeremy Corbyn aide, leader of the Momentum group. His article in the Jewish Chronicle, “My doubts about Oxford Labour antisemitism claim”, exemplify the fundamental distance between this part of the left and mainstream Jewish opinion on antisemitism.

  • The BNP's slow return to antisemitism

Two recent statements by the British National Party and its leader Nick Griffin, have added to a growing sense that the party is returning to its antisemitic roots. Like several far right parties in Western Europe, the BNP has spent the past few years insisting that any antisemitism or neo-Nazism…
