Financial Times letter: end Jewish myths and save America from its Jewish lobby
14 December 2009
On 4th December, the Guardian published an immediate and complete apology for a letter that had appeared upon its letters page the previous day. CST covered the story, here and here. (The letter, upon close scrutiny, advocated Holocaust Denial. A Google search of the author showed that whilst he was no…
Fighting hatred together or setting communities apart
15 April 2015
CST’s work combating antisemitism is widely recognised as a model for others to follow and we are proud to help other communities combat bigotry, prejudice and hatred. We do this because we believe our shared experiences can help to bring communities together. The opposite approach is typified by MEND, a Muslim advocacy group whose activities risk increasing hostility and suspicion between communities.
Prime Minister David Cameron at the CST Dinner
Prime Minister David Cameron was the guest of honour at last night's CST Dinner, where an audience of 1,100 people, including cabinet ministers, shadow cabinet ministers, MPs, Chief Constables and other senior police officers heard the Prime Minister voice his support for CST and the Jewish community in the…
The Drip, Drip, Drip of Criticism and Hatred
6 July 2010
In recent days, I have seen seven ostensibly different news stories and events that show the drip, drip, drip of criticism and hatred of Jews, Zionism and Israel. Depressingly, there is nothing special whatsoever about these last few days. There have been no flood alerts, just the usual …

There are many varying opinions concerning the current state of antisemitism; and how we might compare it with previous times. Last week, CST blog reproduced an interview with Anthony Julius from the Israeli newspaper, HaAretz, in which Julius answered some such questions regarding the UK situation, (in …
Al-Muhajiroun TV
29 October 2009
YouTube features videos of everything under the sun. It is the Speakers Corner of our digital global village, attracting extremists of all types. As has been pointed out before, it can also function as a social networking site for extremists to advertise events, publish offensive material and propagandise for their…
July 2014: UK antisemitism reflections
6 August 2014
July 2014 now joins January 2009 as a month when war between Israel and Hamas caused antisemitism to spew forth across Britain. If this latest round of Middle East violence has now ended, then we may expect the antisemitism to gradually diminish: but…
Ten Jewish women who fought antisemitism and saved Jewish lives
6 February 2018
Today marks the 100 year anniversary of women over 30 being the giving the right to vote for the first time. The Representation of the People Act, which became law on 6 February 1918, was partial but furthered the ongoing fight for gender equality. In honour of this day, and in celebration of the work women have done to achieve equality, CST commemorates ten, out of many, Jewish women whose heroism, in fighting against antisemitism and prejudice from the biblical age until the World War II, should be celebrated.
