"Think Again!" Public meeting on antisemitism in football

CST and Maccabi GB together with Kick It Out and the National Union of Teachers are holding a public meeting in Manchester to promote the "Think Again!" educational pack, tackling anti-semitism in football and in the classroom.

The meeting is part of Kick It Out's One Game, One Community weeks of action and will take place at Old Trafford Stadium on Wednesday, 24th October at 6pm.

The event will include a panel discussion with guests including Oldham Athletic midfielder Dean Furman; Michael Edelson, a non-executive director at Manchester United; ex-professional footballer Quinton Fortune; Christine Blower, General Secretary of the National Union of Teachers; and Nazir Afzal, Chief Prosecutor for the CPS North West.

The meeting will feature the launch of "Think Again!", a free educational resource focusing on combating antisemitism which can be downloaded here. There will also be a showing of the anti-racist film, The Y-Word.
