Amnesty International rejects call to campaign against antisemitism

The Jewish Chronicle has reported that the human rights groups Amnesty International has rejected a call by one of its members to campaign against antisemitism.

A resolution calling on Amnesty to "campaign against antisemitism in the UK and lobby the government to tackle the rise in attacks" was rejected by 468 votes to 461 at its Annual General Meeting on Sunday. This was the only resolution to be voted down at the AGM.
