In Argentina, 58 graves have been desecrated in a Jewish cemetery:

The Jewish cemetery of La Tablada, located on Crovara 2,800, suffered the assault to 58 graves with stolen objects. 8 of them belonging to victims of the AMIA attack, said Julio Schlosser, General secretary of the Israeli Mutual. 

For its part, the president of Inadi, María José Lubertino, noted that “it is clearly an anti-Semitic aggression” the criminals also stole pictures of victims of the AMIA bombing, “the fact might have some other connotation. Inadi also expressed its “total rejection” over these events.

In Russia, four skinheads have been arrested for throwing Molotov cocktails at a synagogue in the town of Khabarovsk:

Nobody was injured in the attack overnight Saturday to Sunday, which was timed to take place ahead of Rosh Hashanah, the Jewish New Year holiday due to begin this Friday, the far eastern branch of Russia's interior ministry said.

"The nationalists acted in two groups: one threw bottles filled with a flammable mix at the windows of the synagogue; the other one, at a police officer's home," the ministry said in a statement.

"At the synagogue the young people chose as their target a room specially equipped for the education of small children."

The four skinheads, aged 15 to 23, face arson charges that carry a maximum sentence of five years in prison, the statement said.

The authorities were also considering whether to file additional charges of attempted murder for firebombing the home of the police officer, who was involved in investigating racist crimes, it said.

In America, swastikas were daubed on two synagogues and outside private homes in Seattle:

Officers said swastikas were found on a synagogue in the 6500 block of 52nd Avenue South and another in the 5100 block of South Morgan Street.

A swastika also was painted on the driveway of one synagogue and on the sidewalk in front of private homes in the area.
