Iran: Drugged up on Antisemitism

Antisemitism is a powerful and enduring psychoactive drug. Dating back to pre-Roman times, it easily adapts to global and local conditions and climates, yet retains its core psychoactive properties, whereby Jews can be blamed for whatever the user wishes.

Psychoactive drugs can be legal or illegal, natural or chemical, local or imported. They influence moods, thought processes and perceptions. Users seek their stimulant, seductive, euphoriant, hallucinogenic or intoxicating purposes.  

Today, Iran is the world’s primary state pusher of the antisemitism drug. It is, in this regard, a narco-state. Like all narco-states, its production or transit role has led to its own ctizens sampling and succumbing to the drug; and now Iran appears to be led by people suffering an antisemitic psychosis that sees Jewish / Zionist plots everywhere and Jewish / Zionist victims nowhere. We already knew about Iran pushing Holocaust denial, but now come two new denials: there are no Zionist drug adddicts and no Jews died in the 1917 Russian Revolution.

These latest dementias are from no less a figure than Iranian Vice President Mohammad-Reza Rahimi, who last week told a United Nations anti-drugs conference in Tehran:

The Islamic Republic of Iran will pay for anybody who can research and find one single Zionist who is an addict,” Mr. Rahmini said. “They do not exist. This is the proof of their involvement in drugs trade.

A fascinating account of the increasingly explicit antisemitism across the Iranian body politic should be read here, written by Meir Javedanfar, an Iranian-Israeli Middle East analyst. This shows, for example, the increasing use of terms such as "Yahoodi Sefat", which means “of Jewish character”, and is being used as a character assassination tool within Iranian politics.

The more antisemitic drugs that enter the Iranian bloodstream, the more stupified its leaders become. (Jews running Central/South American or Afghani or West African drug cartels?!?!) Still, somwhere in the system a designated driver knows that the worst of the addiction needs hidden from world view. So, the above article by Javedanfar shows that the Iranian regime's Press TV outlet, swapped the dirty needles for clean ones by using the conceit of swapping the word "Zionist" for "Jew":  

Thus, where Rahimi said in Farsi that “Jews see others at their service,” Press TV changed that to “the Zionists regard themselves as the master race and they view the other races as their slaves.”

Nevertheless, for anyone with the slightest awareness, Press TV's account still has needle marks all the way up the arm. Their website reports:

Zionists seek to destroy humanity by narcotics: Iran VP

Iran's First Vice President Mohammad Reza Rahimi says the international narcotics business is a Zionist-sponsored agenda aimed at wreaking havoc on the human societies across the globe.

“The Zionists play a key role in the production and distribution of narcotics across the globe, because destroying human societies and exploiting their virtues are among the objectives of the Zionists,” Rahimi said at a conference commemorating the International Day Against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking in the Iranian capital of Tehran on Thursday.

Numerous studies have attested to the fact that the Zionists regard themselves as the master race and they view the other races as their slaves that must be used for achieving the Zionist objectives, he said.

While the Zionists utilize the narcotics to devastate other societies, they safeguard their own society against such drugs, he pointed out.

The Iranian vice president expressed Tehran’s preparedness to sponsor an international investigation into the role of the Zionist entities in the production and distribution of narcotics across the world.

More soberly, the New York Times further suggests Mr Rahimi has a serious antisemitism addiction:

Mr. Rahimi, who spoke after Mr. De Leo...claimed that the Bolshevik Revolution in 1917 was started by Jews, adding that mysteriously no Jews died in that uprising.

He also said the Talmud teaches Jews to think they are a superior race. “They think God has created the world so that all other nations can serve them,” he said...

A European diplomat said afterward: “This was definitely one of the worst speeches I have heard in my life. My gut reaction was: why are we supporting any cooperation with these people?”

The NYT also reports that Mr Rahimi said that gynecologists kill black babies on the orders of Zionists. Other news outlets report Mr Rahimi saying that Talmud teachings caused a Jewish doctor of obstetrics and gynecology to render 8,000 native Americans sterile.

Regardless of whichever of these gynecological antisemitic slurs are correctly reported, Britain’s Minister for the Middle East, Alistair Burt, and the European Union's foreign policy chief, Catherine Ashton, have both strongly condemned the speech as a whole. Their response is to be welcomed, but the whole affair has been largely ignored in the British media and elsewhere. If Rahimi were a famous fashion designer, drunkenly ranting in a Paris bar; or an addled Hollywood celebrity going off the deep end, then the media would most likely have made its usual round of articles declaring an alarming rise in antisemitism.

But Rahimi is not a celebrity – he is far more serious than that; and he is not drunk and he is not on heroin, crack, LSD or similar. Rather, he is the vice president of an extremely important nation that is chasing nuclear weapons, threatening terrorism against Jews around the world; and tries to agitate Muslim communities around the world into "anti-Zionist" action. This latest mutation of the antisemitism drug is exceptionally dangerous. It should be treated as such.
