Golders Green Together's Thunderclap of unity

19 Jun 2015 by CST

Golders Green Together, the community wide response to the neo-Nazi demonstration in Golders Green on July 4th, is coordinating a social media 'Thunderclap' as an expression of unity and diversity in the face of division.

A Thunderclap aims to create a wave of attention by putting out the same message, by all those who sign up, on a variety of social media platforms including Twitter, Facebook and Tumblr.

CST have signed up, along with London Jewish Forum, the Board of Deputies of British Jews, Hope Not Hate and many other organisations and individuals.

To find out more and participate, go to the Golders Green Together Thunderclap page here.

“I’ve now worked with CST on and off for about 11 or 12 years directly, and in that time I’ve seen it develop into a really professional organisation – well-funded, well-organised, delivers on its promises, very challenging, there’s no messing about... But it has my support and it has the Police service of the United Kingdom’s support – great partner, it delivers what it says on the tin and it does its best to keep safe and share intelligence and allow us to move forward together.”
