CST statement on allegations of antisemitism at the Oxford Union Labour Club

17 Feb 2016 by CST

These allegations are very serious and demand a full and urgent inquiry. There is a clear link between extreme hatred of Israel and the kind of antisemitic and pro-terrorist attitudes alleged by Oxford Jewish Society. Our community has long warned of such potential intimidation and exclusion of Jewish students and CST will continue doing all we can to support any students who come forward to report examples of antisemitism.

For more information on the allegations please read the Union of Jewish Students statement

“Since 2003, CST has been a stalwart supporter of ODIHR in its efforts to effectively monitor antisemitic hate crime in the OSCE Region. With its rigorous methodology and innovative partnerships with the British police, it is viewed by many as representing the gold standard for NGO responses to all forms of hate crime. I wish CST all success in its exciting new phase of work.”
