CST trains commercial security guards to protect our Jewish community
7 March 2019
Last month, CST ran two large training sessions for commercial guards. As part of CST’s commitment to working with a large number of commercial guards that protect synagogues and Jewish Schools, CST took advantage of the school half-term break to offer several training session for these guards. Unlike previous training classes, CST has held, the three-hour-long sessions comprised of intense physical training to ensure the guards are properly prepared not only to deal with a terrorist attack but the potential aftermath as well.
Over 75 guards from several guarding companies came together to train. Guards from across London and the wider area were put through their paces by CST's lead instructors and the feedback CST has received from the guards and their management has been overwhelmingly positive.
CST will continue to run these training sessions throughout the year and across the UK. Like all training that CST provides to the community, these training sessions were provided free of charge to the companies. CST would like to thank all the guards who came for their efforts, and to the companies' management for their commitment to working with CST to protect our community.
